Responsibilities
- Assist Patients with Daily Living: Provide compassionate care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding patients of all ages.
- Monitor Patient Health: Record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature) and report any changes in a patient's condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain Patient Comfort: Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and patients at all times.
- Assist with Mobility: Help patients move, walk, or transfer safely using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Document Care: Accurately document patient care activities and observations in electronic health records (EHR).
- Communicate with Team: Collaborate effectively with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- CNA Certification: Must hold a current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state of Ohio.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Entry Level Friendly: Previous experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with a strong desire to learn.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift patients (up to 50 lbs), and perform physical tasks as required by the job.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Compassion & Empathy: A genuine desire to help others and a positive attitude.
