Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside care to patients under the supervision of nursing staff.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent pressure ulcers.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing team immediately.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or completion of an accredited CNA program.
- Strong compassion and desire to help others.
- Physical stamina to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for charting.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
