Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Monitor patient vital signs and conditions, promptly reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities and medical records.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (New graduates welcome to apply).
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital setting.
