Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care under the supervision of registered nurses, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patients' health status by recording vital signs and reporting changes to the nursing staff.
- Assist with mobility, including turning, repositioning, and transferring patients to prevent bedsores.
- Prepare and serve meals according to patients' dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and visitors.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure quality care.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current CNA certification or willingness to obtain one through our training program.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use electronic health records (EHR).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull patients (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- CPR certification is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level applicants.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for some positions.
