Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments and administer medications/treatments according to physician orders and nursing standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient charts in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to patient emergencies and critical incidents during the night shift.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols.
- Compassionate Care: Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- License: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin.
- Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Availability: Must be willing to work rotating night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
