Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any abnormalities to the nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Turn, reposition, and move patients to prevent bedsores and ensure comfort.
- Prepare patients for medical examinations and treatments by positioning them correctly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patient care.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must be willing to obtain state-required CNA certification (training provided).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- CPR certification is a plus, but not mandatory for entry-level applicants.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
