What You Will Do
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be the heart of patient care. We are looking for individuals who are patient, observant, and eager to make a difference every day.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Turn, reposition, and move patients safely to prevent bedsores and ensure comfort.
- Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary needs and restrictions.
- Communicate patient changes and concerns to the Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment.
- Document patient care plans and daily progress accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- CNA Certification (or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of hire).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
