Responsibilities
- Provide essential daily care to patients including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse)
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques
- Support patients with activities of daily living in a dignified manner
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
- Document patient observations accurately and promptly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Current CPR certification (will be provided if needed)
- California CNA certification required (training included)
- Compassionate attitude and patience with elderly/disabled patients
