Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of medical equipment
- Support patient emotional well-being and maintain dignity
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- No prior healthcare experience required
- Valid NY State driver’s license or state ID
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to complete paid training program within 90 days
