Responsibilities
- Delight patients with compassionate daily care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Accurately monitor vital signs and report patient changes to nursing staff
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments through proper infection control protocols
- Document patient care details with precision and timeliness
- Collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary care teams
- Safely transport patients using proper equipment and techniques
- Support emotional well-being through active listening and empathy
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Maryland CNA certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (training provided)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods with physical assistance
- Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
- Valid Maryland driver's license preferred
