Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including walking, transferring, and positioning in bed or chairs.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and their families.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
Qualifications
- Current Arizona CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification or state licensure required.
- Must be willing to obtain BLS (Basic Life Support) certification within 30 days of hire.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Strong compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs (if applicable).
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus but not required for entry-level candidates.
