Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor Health Status: Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse; report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with Mobility: Help patients move safely from beds to wheelchairs or walkers, ensuring proper body mechanics and patient comfort.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team, ensuring all concerns are addressed promptly.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- CNA Certification: Valid state-issued Certified Nursing Assistant license required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- CPR Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus but we provide training.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a compassionate demeanor.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed throughout the shift.
