Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations
- Provide basic wound care and assist with medical procedures
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Accurately document patient care activities and observations
- Support nursing staff in implementing patient care plans
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current Maryland CNA certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
