Responsibilities
- Perform vital sign measurements and record patient data accurately.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain accurate medical documentation.
- Coordinate patient follow-ups and schedule appointments.
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and sanitized according to infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant), RMA (Registered Medical Assistant), or NCMA certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred (1+ years).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems.
