Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary restrictions are met.
- Communicate patient status and concerns to registered nurses and physicians.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CNA Certification (State of New York) or completion of an accredited nursing assistant program.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as needed.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
