Responsibilities
- Delight patients with compassionate daily care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Accurately monitor and record vital signs and patient observations
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and maintain sterile environments
- Transport patients safely between departments using proper equipment
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times
- Maintain detailed patient documentation following hospital protocols
- Collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Active Ohio CNA certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication skills with empathy and patience
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn hospital protocols
- Background check and drug screening required
