Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs (BP, temp, pulse, respiration)
- Assist with patient nutrition and hydration needs
- Support infection control protocols and maintain sterile environments
- Collaborate with RNs and LPNs for coordinated patient care
- Respond to patient call lights and address immediate needs
- Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and transport
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active Tennessee CNA certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 6 months clinical experience (externships accepted)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays
