Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs with precision and attention to detail
- Assist patients with daily living activities while maintaining dignity and respect
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare team to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and medical equipment
- Document patient observations accurately and timely in electronic health records
- Support infection control protocols and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends/holidays
