Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily living assistance to patients including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments following infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Support RNs and LPNs with delegated tasks and patient care coordination
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active Illinois CNA certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Compassionate attitude and commitment to patient-centered care
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- No prior experience required - we train motivated entry-level candidates
