Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation
- Support daily living activities in a respectful manner
- Communicate patient needs effectively to nursing staff
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary
- Current Michigan CNA certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (provided)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
