Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Document patient care accurately and maintain confidentiality
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Assist with meal service and ensure dietary needs are met
- Collaborate with healthcare team to create individualized care plans
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Indiana CNA certification or willingness to obtain
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
