Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of medical equipment
- Maintain clean, sanitized patient environments
- Document care activities accurately in medical records
- Support patient emotional needs and communication with families
- Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current Maryland CNA certification or enrollment in approved training program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
