Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation, suctioning, and material handling
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with proper infection control protocols
- Manage patient flow and prepare treatment rooms between appointments
- Perform sterilization and disinfection of dental instruments and equipment
- Update patient records using our digital practice management software
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior dental experience necessary - we provide paid training!
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physically active work
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn dental software
- Valid CPR certification (will be provided if not already certified)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
