Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and treatment rooms
- Sterilize and maintain dental equipment following infection control protocols
- Take and develop dental X-rays with proper radiation safety measures
- Manage patient scheduling, records, and insurance documentation
- Provide chairside support including suctioning, instrument transfer, and patient reassurance
- Perform lab tasks like pouring models and creating temporary crowns
- Ensure clinic cleanliness and inventory management of supplies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior dental experience necessary – training provided
- Basic computer literacy for patient record management
