Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures, including instrument handling and suction management
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain inventory of dental supplies
- Take and develop dental X-rays under supervision
- Manage patient scheduling and post-appointment follow-ups
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA and HIPAA compliance standards
- Perform basic lab tasks like pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene practices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Strong willingness to learn with no prior dental experience required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle manual tasks
- Basic computer proficiency for scheduling software
- Valid CPR certification (training provided if needed)
