Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Manage sterilization protocols and maintain clinical equipment
- Document patient records accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Coordinate treatment plans and scheduling with efficiency
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or DANB registration
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) systems
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification
- Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software preferred
