Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision
- Process prescription orders and maintain electronic health records
- Manage inventory control and medication ordering systems
- Provide exceptional customer service and patient education
- Assist with sterile compounding and IV admixtures (training provided)
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and HIPAA standards
- Operate automated dispensing systems and pharmacy software
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No pharmacy experience necessary – training provided!
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn pharmacy systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must obtain Arizona Pharmacy Technician license within 90 days of hire
- Customer service mindset with excellent communication skills
