Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument handling and patient preparation
- Perform sterilization and disinfection of dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) after proper training
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments using our digital system
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all supplies are adequately stocked
- Provide post-operative instructions and compassionate patient education
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and OSHA compliance
- Support front desk operations including check-in/check-out procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior dental experience necessary – we train all new hires!
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new procedures
