Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Prepare patients for treatments and explain medical procedures
- Perform vital signs checks and EKG recordings
- Manage patient records and maintain electronic health systems
- Administer medications under physician supervision
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule appointments efficiently
- Sterilize medical instruments and maintain exam room readiness
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduation from accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
- CPR certification (provided if not certified)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environment
- Basic computer literacy and EMR system knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
