Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Perform vital sign measurements and EKG screenings
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Administer injections and collect specimens for lab testing
- Manage patient scheduling and electronic health records
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) a plus
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with diverse patients
- Proficiency with electronic health records systems
