Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and verify their personal and insurance information upon arrival.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately.
- Prepare patients for examinations by assisting physicians and nurses with comfort and positioning.
- Perform basic clinical duties such as urine analysis, blood draws, and EKGs following safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and patient charts in the electronic health system.
- Ensure examination rooms are clean, sanitized, and fully stocked with medical supplies.
- Administer medications and injections under the direct supervision of a licensed provider.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous healthcare experience is a plus, but not mandatory for this entry-level position.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with EHR software is a plus.
- Valid CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain immediately.
