Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examination by assisting with examination procedures and collecting medical histories.
  • Perform basic clinical duties including vital sign monitoring, EKGs, and assisting with minor procedures.
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician and RNs.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
  • Ensure examination rooms are clean, sanitized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Assist with patient billing, insurance verification, and scheduling appointments.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; CMA or RMA certification preferred but not mandatory.
