Responsibilities
- Assist providers with clinical procedures including EKGs, injections, and wound care
- Perform vital signs measurement and patient history documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile environments
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Administer basic laboratory tests and specimen processing
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Pass background check and drug screening
