Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and check them in efficiently to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Measure and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Prepare examination rooms for patients and sterilize medical equipment.
- Assist providers during patient examinations and minor procedures.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
- Handle patient insurance verification and documentation accurately.
- Provide patient education on preventive care and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- No prior medical experience necessary; on-the-job training provided.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- CPR certification is a plus but not required for immediate hire.
