Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in processes.
- Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and medical history.
- Assist providers with clinical procedures, examinations, and minor office surgeries.
- Perform basic phlebotomy and EKG procedures.
- Administer medications and injections under the direct supervision of a provider.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or CMAA) preferred, but not required for entry-level applicants.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort with electronic health systems.
- Must be willing to complete a background check and drug screening.
