Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, ordering, and stock rotation procedures
- Process insurance claims and maintain accurate patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling to patients
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and HIPAA standards
- Operate pharmacy dispensing technology and point-of-sale systems
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and satisfaction
Qualifications
- No prior pharmacy experience required – training provided!
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic computer literacy and math skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician certification within 6 months
