Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory and stock pharmaceutical products efficiently
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records with precision
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling to patients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Adhere to all federal, state, and pharmacy regulations
- Assist with pharmacy operations including cash handling and point-of-sale systems
Qualifications
- No prior pharmacy experience required – we provide paid training!
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn pharmacy software systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Pharmacy Tech certification preferred but not required (training provided)
