Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient procedures.
- Assist the dentist and hygienist during examinations and dental treatments.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) and digital images.
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilize dental instruments.
- Instruct patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene practices.
- Manage patient records and handle billing inquiries as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification or licensure as a Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Attention to detail and a compassionate demeanor toward patients.
