- Perform accurate blood draws and specimen collection following strict safety protocols
- Prepare and maintain sterile equipment and collection supplies
- Verify patient identities and provide clear instructions before procedures
- Label specimens accurately and document collection details in electronic health records
- Ensure proper handling and transport of biological samples to laboratories
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and equipment
- Offer compassionate patient care during stressful procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior phlebotomy experience necessary – we train!
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced clinical environments
- Must pass background check and drug screening
