Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings under RN supervision
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient assessments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Support patient/family education and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- Passion for compassionate patient care
- Willingness to complete hospital orientation program
