Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in collaboration with healthcare team members
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge plans
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency interventions
- Adhere to hospital policies and nursing standards of practice
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Active Nebraska RN license (or compact license)
- ACLS/BLS certification (or obtain within 90 days)
- Completion of nursing program within last 12 months
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care setting
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
