Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to assigned patients
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety standards
- Participate in shift handovers and unit quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (or eligibility to obtain immediately)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from accredited program
- ACLS and BLS certifications (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Basic computer proficiency for electronic health records (EHR)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
