Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety regulations
- Participate in shift handoffs and patient rounding activities
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Indiana RN license or compact state license
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Less than 1 year of clinical nursing experience (new graduates welcome)
- BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
