Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under supervision in medical-surgical units
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in 12-week residency program with clinical rotations
- Complete required certifications (BLS, ACLS)
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
- Active Tennessee RN license (or eligible)
- NCLEX-RN pass result
- CPR/BLS certification
- 0-2 years of clinical experience (new graduates welcome)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (rotating schedule)
- Commitment to completing residency program requirements
