Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records (EHR)Provide patient and family education on health conditions and treatment protocols
- Assist in emergency response situations following ACLS/BLS protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based performance reviews
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Active North Carolina RN license or eligibility
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program within the last 12 months
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and emotional resilience
