Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across medical-surgical units with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per hospital protocols
- Document patient assessments and interventions in Epic EMR system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Participate in rapid response team activations and emergency care
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standards
- Complete 40 hours of annual continuing education
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license (or eligible to obtain within 60 days)
- BSN degree from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1.0 GPA in nursing program
- Completion of clinical rotation in acute care setting
- Basic proficiency with electronic medical records
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
