Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across diverse medical units (Med/Surg, ER, Telemetry)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor vital signs and document patient assessments accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care
- Educate patients and families on health management
- Adhere to HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in shift handovers and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- Associate's or Bachelor's in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
- Graduation from accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Clinical rotations or new grad residency preferred
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Passion for patient advocacy and teamwork
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (days/nights)
