Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and administer medications under physician supervision
- Monitor vital signs and document electronic health records (EHR) accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and infection control standards
- Participate in 12-hour rotating shifts with weekend availability
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
- Active New Mexico RN license or eligibility
- ACLS/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs
- Basic knowledge of EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
