Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and hospital protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while documenting patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient status promptly
- Maintain sterile environments during procedures and wound care
- Participate in shift handoffs and ensure seamless continuity of care
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts RN license (or eligible for immediate licensing)
- BSN degree from an accredited nursing program (ADN candidates with strong experience considered)
- ACLS and BLS certifications (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and compassion for diverse patient populations
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
