Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across medical-surgical units following evidence-based protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document clinical observations and patient progress in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and preventive care
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency interventions
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety regulations
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN required)
- Active RN license in Minnesota (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Completion of nursing clinical rotations within the past 12 months
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
- Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask in dynamic settings
